Hello, I am Nadia Y. Barsoum, thank you for taking the time to read my biography. I am a Trial Lawyer at the Firm and I spend every day fighting for my client in courtrooms all over the State of Florida.
I have an interesting personal background that allows me to understand and help clients in unique and creative ways.
My story starts in Cairo, Egypt where I was born. However, I grew up and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I graduated from St. Louis University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Management Information Systems. After college, I worked as a consultant for Deloitte & Touche where my clients included some of the most well know companies in the world – Boeing, FDIC, Lehmann Brothers, Inc., and Hard Rock Café & Casino. Although this work interesting, it was not where my heart to make this my career and life’s work – I wanted to pursue a legal career and assist and legal problems for the individual rather than a Fortune 500 company.
My dream brought me to Orlando where I attended Barry University School of Law. I knew I made the right choice when I received the highest grade in Trial Advocacy.
After graduating from law school, I began my career as an Assistant State Attorney with the State Attorney’s Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. As a Prosecutor, I had the privilege of representing the State of Florida in criminal court on thousands of cases. Seeking justice on behalf of victims was the best part of my job and I knew the hard work in pursuing a new career was worth it.
I continue that work here at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys representing people who were injured in car crashes or other accident where they suffered some type of loss.
