Hello, my name is Logan Young. Thank you for reading my biography. I was born and raised right here in Central Florida where I attended public school from grade school through high school. My aspirations of law came at a young age. My father was a lawyer. He worked long and hard hours often late into the night; reading, writing and advocating for his clients. As a child, I admired his work and as a young man, I took pride in seeing how many people my father fought so hard in protecting their legal rights. As I entered high school, I knew that I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps. I too wanted to champion cases for my clients and advocate for them in a court of law. Proudly before graduating college, I was selected to intern for Congressman John Mica in Washington, D.C. Working for Congressman Mica was a great honor. I saw firsthand, the importance of the American justice system and had the privilege of working on congressional projects and newly proposed legislation. My work in Washington, D.C. for Congressman Mica solidified my decision to attend law school and become a lawyer.
In 2001, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Political Science and Communications and then earned a scholarship to attend law school at Florida Coast in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating law school, I spent ten years representing some of our nation’s largest insurance companies as their trial attorney. I literally handled thousands of personal injury cases involving auto accidents, slip and falls and wrongful death matters. I learned how large insurance companies think and how they evaluate claims. I also learned how to work a claim, how not to work a claim and how to present what they need in order to promptly resolve a case.
My passion has always been helping injured people and that is why I am thankful today to be working for Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys. Every day at work, I use all of my expertise and experience I learned working for large insurance companies to benefit our clients. I don’t like to lose and will work day and night for my client.
