Meet Our Attorneys
Hello, my name is Kelyana Chau and I thank you for taking the time to read my biography. As the daughter of two Cambodian immigrants, both my mother and father instilled the value of hard work, dedication, and determination. My desire to help others began at an early age when I learned the importance of advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves – similar to those who advocated on behalf of my parents.
After graduating high school, I attended the University of Central Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies. During my senior year of college at UCF, I applied for a position as a legal clerk with Dan Newlin. When I began my internship, I was assigned to work in the litigation division, where I watched trial lawyers fight for every client in and out of the courtroom.
During my internship, I learned the importance of constant client communication and a strong work ethic especially in cases where the insurance companies refused to be reasonable. My internship at Dan Newlin further motivated me to pursue a career in trial law.
Following my senior year of college, I attended law school at Stetson University College where I received my law degree and was one of the top students in my class.
Upon graduation, I was lucky to be offered an associate attorney in the litigation division at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys. Every day, when I am not in court, I meet and speak with injured victims trying to make a complicated legal system easier to understand.
I am proud to be a part of the team at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys and it would be my privilege to help fight for you. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at (407) 490-1388 or [email protected].
