Hello, my name is Joshua Silberman. Thank you for taking this time to read my biography. I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Miami. I grew up as the middle child in a large family and was instilled with a set of values, such as compassion, responsibility, humility, and a strong work ethic. I enjoyed spending my time playing competitive sports, fishing, and reading.
I have carried this value-based competitive spirit with me both scholastically and professionally. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UCF. Shortly after moving to Orlando, I fell in love with the Central Florida community and decided to remain in Central Florida for law school. While obtaining my juris doctor degree, I co-founded and served as treasurer for the Veterans Legal Society. I also served as a Senator on the Student Government Association. In the little spare time I had between studying, working, and serving in the student organizations, I volunteered at Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. I graduated from Barry University School of Law with honors and received several academic awards.
As an attorney, I strive to continue serving my community and achieve justice for those who have been injured as a result of another’s negligence.
