Meet Our Attorneys
Hello, I’m Dianne Downie! My passion is helping injured victims receive justice. I was born in Bronx, NY to military parents. As the child of military parents, I had the opportunity to live in different states within the United States to different countries in Europe. Not only did I have the advantage to see the world and learn about various cultures at an early age, being raised in a military family meant I learned the principles of timeliness, structure and hard work. These are the same principles I carried with me as I became an adult and are integrated in me as an attorney.
After my father retired from the Army, our family settled in Central Florida in 1989 where I graduated from Deltona High School. I then graduated from University of Central Florida (UCF) with a degree in Psychology followed with a master’s Degree in Mass Communication a couple years later. After my studies at UCF, I worked for a real estate investment trust company and other local companies in Central Florida. However, I realized that I would rather work in a field that I could help people in need and give back to the community. What better way to do so than by becoming a lawyer.
So as life would have it, I began my law school studies in 2005 and graduated from Barry University School of Law in 2008. During my second year of law school, I interned at a product liability and personal injury firm. After graduating from law school, I continued to work as an attorney at the product liability and personal injury firm for the following ten years. During my time there, I represented clients who were tragically or catastrophically injured from auto accidents and from defective vehicles. It was an honor to fight for the powerless against insurance companies and automobile manufacturers.
My passion and experience helping injured victims combined with my strong work ethic allows me to obtain the results our clients deserve. I am thankful to be working at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys and look forward to representing you in your time of need. If you would like to email me or speak to me about your case or any legal matter, please feel free to contact me 24/7 directly at 407-845-1827 or [email protected] if I can be of any assistance.
