Hello, I am Thomas P. Glenz and I thank you for reading my biography. I am a Florida native, born, raised and educated in Tampa. I am a Partner and Trial Attorney with the Firm.
Getting up early every morning and working hard is who I am and how I grew up. I am the son of an electrician and a school teacher. The work ethic my parents instilled in me has been a driving force through my school years, throughout college and during my legal career. As my client, I will bring the same tireless effort when I work on your case.
During college I discovered a real love for the law and saw it as a way that I could provide meaningful help to others. After receiving my degree at the University of South Florida in 1997, I went to Stetson University College of Law and was on the Mock Trial team. The Stetson Mock Trial Team is considered one of the best programs in the country and only a few students get selected every year to be on the team. I graduated in 2000 and began trying cases that same year.
For 15 years, I represented the biggest insurance companies in the world. I defended them in trial across the state of Florida in both state and federal courts. They trusted me with thousands of personal injury matters ranging from a minor auto accident to a wrongful death cases.. I know how to win in court for my client and I won a lot.
Helping large corporations save money by not paying injury victims what they’re owed is not the way I wanted to spend my entire legal career. Instead, using the incredible trial skills I developed over many years to help those injured because of someone else’s negligence was my ultimate goal. When I am your lawyer, the insurance company understands that I know their game plan. They also know that no trial attorney will work harder to win your case. I am an extremely competitive person, especially when someone’s ability to pay for their medical bills depends on the outcome of the case.
