Meet Our Attorneys
Hi, my name is Rachel A. Kilbert. Thank you for reading my biography to learn a little about my background. Seeking justice for people every day is not just my job, it is a personal mission. Like our clients, I was injured in a car accident several years ago and still live with that injury today. I remember not knowing what to do; I had questions about my property damage and my medical care. I understand more than most what our clients go through on a daily basis. The car accident and everything that happened after, taught me how important it was to have a great lawyer and law firm that always fought hard for you. That is why I will never let any of my clients down when they hire me to help them.
I proudly hold my Juris Doctor degree from Florida A&M University College of Law, where I graduated magna cum laude and ranked first among full-time students in my graduating class. While attending FAMU, I received numerous awards, including the Holland & Knight Scholarship Award and the Dean’s Merit Scholarship Award, earned Book Awards for scoring the highest grade in a course six separate times, and was inducted into Law Review. I also hold an M.S. in Sports Management and a B.S. in Physical Education (summa cum laude).
My clients also know that I am highly competitive and have the strongest desire to win in whatever I do. Prior to law school, I spent eight years coaching high school and college softball and teaching physical education and health. My love for the game of softball stems from a lifetime of playing competitively, culminating in an NCAA Regional Championship and Super Regional appearance in 2005 with the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman College. While there, I earned two MEAC All-Conference Team selections and three All-Academic Team selections. I was additionally honored with the female athlete of the year with the highest GPA. Prior to B-CC, I played for the Pirates of Seton Hall, where I was honored to be selected to the Big East All-Rookie Team and made an NCAA Regional appearance. You have my promise that I will bring all that success and experience on the field when I am working on your injury claim.
Finally, I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and now live in Central Florida with my partner, Chris, and four children. Most of my leisure time outside of helping my clients is spent with my family, coaching and attending sporting events.
I’m not on the athletic field anymore but I will never stop fighting for justice for you and I will treat you and your family as if they were my own. If you or someone you know are ever injured in ana accident, please feel free to call me anytime me at 407-573-6688 or e-mail me at [email protected].
