Hello, my name is Rachel Fenton, and I’m proud to be a Tampa native! My passion for the law began in high school at the Academy of the Holy Names, where my government class participated in Teen Court. From that moment, I knew I wanted to become a lawyer.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Tampa, then went on to receive my Juris Doctor from the University of Hawaii. After graduating from law school, I sat for and passed both the Texas and Florida Bar Exams. I began my legal career at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Texas, representing individuals in need of strong advocacy.

Eventually, I returned to Florida and served as in-house counsel for one of the nation’s largest automobile insurance companies. That experience gave me invaluable insight into how insurance companies evaluate claims and the strategies used by insurance defense attorneys to reduce compensation. With this knowledge, I realized it was time to return to my true calling—helping accident victims. Today, I’m honored to be part of the Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys team, fighting every day to secure justice for the injured.

Outside the office, life is full and fun with my husband and our two children. I enjoy working out, cooking, and cheering on my son at his baseball games.
