Hello, thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. My name is Lina Mondragon. I was born in Bogota, Colombia. My family and I have lived in Central Florida since 2001.
I attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and graduated with a degree in criminology & law. It was during that time that my interest in the legal field sparked. I was a research assistant to an associate professor who focused her research on expert evidence, jury decision-making, and eyewitness identification. Those interests led me to the University of Central Florida, where I graduated with a master’s degree in criminal justice.
While finishing up my graduate degree, I began working as a legal assistant at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys. My interest in helping those injured through no fault of their own grew as I learned how insurance companies treat those involved in an accident. While continuing my employment as an assistant, I attended Florida A&M University College of Law part-time program, where I graduated top of my class.
Today, I am humbled by the opportunity to work as an attorney at a firm that has supported me and my goals, but most importantly, truly cares and always goes the extra mile for its clients.
