Meet Our Attorneys
Hello, my name is Kelsey Schott. Thank you for taking the time to read my biography. I am a native Floridian born and raised in South Florida. I grew up with a large family that instilled in me the importance of fighting for others.
After graduating high school, I moved to Tallahassee, where I attended Florida State University on a public service scholarship and earned my bachelor’s degree. I developed a strong work ethic as I attended school full-time, worked part-time, and volunteered. Upon graduating from college, I moved to Gainesville, where I attended the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. While in law school, I worked with juveniles in the legal system, where I learned the importance of having good legal representation. I graduated with honors, in the top 25% of my class.
After graduating from law school, I moved to Orlando with my husband to start working as a trial attorney at the Office of the Public Defender. I spent several years representing thousands of clients who did not have the means to hire a private lawyer. I conducted over 25 trials and honed my skills as a litigator fighting against the power of the state.
I am proud that Mr. Newlin asked me to join his law firm where I can continue fighting for others. At Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys, I use my experience fighting against the state to help accident victims with their claims against large insurance companies. I understand how difficult life can be after an accident and how important it is to have a strong advocate on your side which is why my clients are my number one priority. I would be honored to speak with you today about your auto accident or injury case. Please feel free to call me at 321-346-5981 or email me at [email protected]. I look forward to fighting for you.
