Hello! My name is Jeff Gionet. Thank you for taking the time to read my biography. I was born in Connecticut and moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida, when I was three years old, so I consider myself a Florida native.
I have always had a passion for helping and assisting others. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida with a major in education. I then taught at Dunedin High School while I studied for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). While I was accepted to many law schools, I ultimately decided to attend Stetson University College of Law on scholarship. I excelled in law school and graduated in the top 15% of my class. In law school, I earned top grades in several courses and made the Honor Roll (top 25%) and Dean’s List (top 5%) numerous semesters.
While in law school, I was accepted to several internships. I clerked for a Felony Criminal Judge in Pinellas County and served as a Judicial Intern with Federal Judge Anthony Porcelli with the Middle District of Florida. These internships allowed me to view the legal realm through the eyes of a judge, which has allowed me to serve my clients better.
Prior to joining the Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys, I represented insurance companies and several Fortune 500 Companies. I handled hundreds of cases across many different areas of law, working with some of the best insurance defense firms in Florida.
I now have the privilege of representing clients alongside Mr. Newlin. I fight on behalf of our clients against the power of large insurance companies to ensure our clients receive the representation they deserve.
