Meet Our Attorneys
Hello, I am Gregory Jackson and thank you for taking the time to read my biography. My desire to fight for others started when I enlisted in the Army National Guard as an 11th grade student. That desire coupled with the values my parents instilled in me to work hard and serve my community honorably led me to obtain an undergraduate degree from FAMU, a masters degree in health administration from UNF, and a law degree from FSU College of Law where I served as Notes & Comments Editor for the FSU Law Review.
After law school, in addition to serving as an Intelligence Analyst with the U.S. Navy Reserve, I honed my trial skills as a partner with a statewide medical malpractice defense law firm. Wanting to fight for those who were victims of consumer fraud, I left private practice to work as an Assistant Attorney General where I oversaw the litigation/trial practice for the Consumer Protection Division (former known as the Economic Crimes Division) for the Florida Office of the Attorney General. At the Attorney General’s Office, I successfully recovered millions of dollars for victims of economic crimes while taking on some of the largest and best law firms in the nation.
I returned to private practice to join one of the largest insurance defense firms in the State of Florida, where I continued to gain invaluable experience litigating and taking to trial cases ranging from premises liability to auto negligence to negligent security, wrongful death, and more. As a partner with the firm, I also provided continuing education credits for insurance professionals, as well as continuing legal education credits for defense attorneys. From this experience, I developed valuable knowledge as to how insurance companies evaluate, value, and try cases.
Coming to work for Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys has given me the opportunity to take all of my years of trial experience and knowledge, to help those who need it most — those injured in an accident. While I learned to never make any guarantees with jury trials, one thing I can promise is that as my client you are very important to me and I will work to ensure that your experience with me and our firm is a positive one. If you, a loved one, friend or colleague have been injured in an accident, I would be honored to serve you personally.
