Hello, my name is Emily Stottlemyer, thank you for taking the time to read my professional biography. I have lived in the Orlando area most of my life. After graduating as valedictorian from West Orange High School, located in Orlando, FLorida I applied and was accepted to Wake Forest University in North Carolina where I graduated with high honors. After graduation from Wake Forest University, I relocated back to Florida where I proudly was accepted and attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During that time I got married and had one beautiful daughter, who is the love of my life and provides me the energy everyday to get up, focus and work super hard.
I began my career almost nine years ago at a law firm representing large insurance companies in claims of several types: including automobile accidents, wrongful death claims, and slip and falls. During this time, I saw how insurance adjusters and companies would offer accident victims much less money than what they were legally entitled to. I learned what insurance companies look for when valuing and negotiating claims and today I use my extensive experience to advocate for my clients at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys. Each day I wake with a sense of purpose knowing that I am going to be helping people who have been injured or lost a loved one due to the careless conduct of another person, sadly most insurance companies find ways to deny and delay payment to injured people, I live, eat and sleep for my clients and their families. I know at the end of the day, I have done all I can do to help my client, that is a good feeling and that is all I can do.
