Hello, my name is Devry Kelley. Thank you for reading my bio and learning about my experience and qualifications. I am a native Floridian and was born in Sanford, Florida. I work in the Fiorm’s litigation department where most of my time is spent in the courtroom or preparing a case for a trial.
I attended the University of Central Florida where I obtained my undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Next, I went to Stetson University where I was awarded a Master’s in Business Administration. I then went on to Law School and graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2001 with honors.
I was inspired to become a lawyer by my father. As a teenager, I watched him struggle to obtain his college education while working full-time and raising 4 children as a single father. Through hard work and perseverance, he achieved his goal. I think of him often when I have a difficult or complicated case and the lessons he taught me have, no doubt, made me a tougher person and better attorney.
Prior to joining Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys, I worked for several large insurance companies, including Allstate, State Farm, and The Hartford. I handled thousands of cases involving personal injuries and have more than two decades of experience working on wrongful death, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, dog bites, premises liability, slip and fall and trip and falls.
However, there is only so much money that you can help an insurance company save and I wanted and needed another opportunity – this time helping injured victims receive justice. With all my skill in the courtroom, I knew I was the right lawyer for the job.
