Meet Our Attorneys
Hello, my name is Amanda Glenz. I am a Florida native, born and raised in Tampa. I joined Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys as an associate in the litigation department after working as an immigration attorney in Louisiana and then as an insurance defense attorney in Florida. While in New Orleans, I worked on many forms of immigration relief and worked on multiple appellate briefs with the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. In insurance defense, I worked heavily in motion practice and on various appeals. My passion has always been helping people. Working with our clients to get the best possible outcome is a great privilege.
At the University of Florida, I studied History, Political Science, and Spanish. Through my studies in History, I was selected to participate in the History Honors Program and the University Scholar’s Program, receiving funding to conduct independent research at the National Archives of the United Kingdom. Between my work there and at Cambridge University, I wrote my undergraduate thesis which I later presented at multiple conferences. My thesis was awarded highest honors and I earned the distinguishment of graduating Summa Cum Laude. In addition to my studies, I was also involved with the University’s chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, the pre-legal fraternity, which included participating in multiple mock trial events.
After graduating from the University of Florida with my B.A.s in History and Political Science, I continued my education at Tulane University School of Law where I graduated in May 2020. There, I participated in the Immigrants’ Rights Practicum. In my second year of law school, I joined the Tulane Journal of Law and Sexuality. My case note was published in the Journal that year. During my third year of law school, I was elected as Editor in Chief of the Journal where I coordinated the selection, editing, and publication process of Volume 29 of the Journal.
After working in immigration, helping survivors of domestic violence and helping bring families together through family-based immigration processes, I am proud to be able to return to the roots of working with people instead of insurance companies. I am dedicated to using my skills and education to advocate for our injured clients and get them the justice they deserve after suffering from the negligence of others.
I would be honored to speak with you today about your injury case. Please feel free to call me at 321-346-4852 or email me at [email protected]. I look forward to fighting for you.
