Meet Our Attorneys
Hello, my name is Antonio Bayon. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my legal biography. I was born and raised in a small coastal town, Lajas, Puerto Rico to a family of traditional values where both of my parents worked together in a family owned business. From an early age my parents instilled in me the importance of day to day hard work, honesty and helping those in need. Those core values drove me to pursue a career in law.
Following graduation from high school and the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, I entered the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law, located in the City of Ponce, where I graduated at the top 5% of my class. While in law school I was selected to the Law School Law Review, where I served as Editor in Chief of Prima Facie Law Journal. In my third year at Law School, I received the high honor of being selected to serve as a student law clerk in the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals. In 2000 I attended Tulane University School of Law where I obtained an LMM degree in Admiralty and Maritime Law.
Following law school, I accepted a position with an insurance defense firm and began my career as a litigation attorney. For over twelve (12) years I represented a wide range of insurance companies and their clients predominately in the areas of car accident litigation, carriage of goods by sea, wrongful death litigation, slip and fall and premises liability in general. Working for the insurance industry provided me with a unique insight on how insurance companies worked and evaluated injury cases.
Today I put that unique knowledge to work on behalf of my clients who have been injured through no fault of their own. I am honored to be a personal injury attorney working with Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys and serving clients in the greater Central Florida areas.
