Meet Our Attorneys
Hello, my name is Elizabeth Everson. Thank you for taking the time to read my biography. I am originally from Greenville, North Carolina, where I was raised by a hardworking single mother who served as a nurse. She instilled in me a strong work ethic and a deep desire to help others—values that have shaped my life and career. Advocacy has always been my passion, and I have dedicated my life to standing up for those in need.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University and went on to attend Western State University College of Law in California, where I graduated with honors. I have since built a career focused on serving and protecting others, both in and out of the courtroom. I began as a criminal prosecutor at the District Attorney’s Office, where I spent three years fighting for victims of crime. After relocating to Tampa, I joined the Office of the Attorney General in Children’s Legal Services. For seven years, I served as a Senior Trial Attorney, advocating fiercely to protect children from abuse, abandonment, and neglect.
In addition to my public service, I ran my own law firm, where I represented dependency clients and children in foster care with the same dedication and tenacity. My career path took a deeply personal turn when a family member suffered a traumatic brain injury in a serious auto accident. That experience gave me firsthand insight into the overwhelming challenges that injured individuals and their families face—especially when battling large insurance companies. It fueled my determination to fight for those who are hurt and in need of strong legal representation.
Today, I am proud to be part of the team at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys. I am committed to helping our clients obtain the compensation they deserve and providing the compassionate, results-driven advocacy they need during difficult times. Your case is my top priority, and I am honored to stand by your side.
