Meet Our Attorneys
Hello, my name is Justin Patrou. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. At a young age, my family moved from New York to South Florida, where I spent my youth. From an early age, I knew I wanted to devote my life to helping others when they needed it the most.
I made my way to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida – Charge On! – where I earned a degree in Political Science. After graduation, I attended Barry University School of Law, where I graduated in the top 8% of my class. As a law student in Orlando, I had the opportunity to intern with the Ninth Circuit, Office of the Public Defender – one of the largest circuits in the state of Florida. The first-hand experience of helping others in their critical time of need helped solidify the work I wanted to do as an attorney.
After law school graduation, I briefly worked in health law before returning to the Office of the Public Defender, where I would work tirelessly to represent my clients and fight for those accused of a crime by the government. Working as a Public Defender helped me connect with each client and learn to focus on everyone’s unique needs. Representing and providing zealous advocacy for individuals who did not have the means to afford an attorney shaped the passionate and hardworking attorney I have become in my career. I bring that same level of life-long commitment to Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys while working on my clients’ accident claims.
During my tenure with the Public Defender’s Office, I litigated more than 75 trials and received Board Certification in Criminal Trial Law from the Florida Bar. This is one of the highest honors a lawyer can receive in Florida, and it means that I am an expert in several areas, like courtroom procedure and trial skills.
My desire to help individuals during life-altering times brought me to Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys, where I am honored to work with Mr. Newlin and the entire Dan Newlin team.
My clients’ needs are my top priority, and I look forward to advocating and fighting for you. Please feel free to call me to discuss how I can help you at (407) 613-2046 or email me at [email protected].
