Meet Our Attorneys
Hi, I’m Michelle Stein, a native Floridian born and raised in Orlando. I developed a passion for public service at an early age, but it was not until I spent a summer interning at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys that I realized I could help people much more with a law degree.
After graduating high school in Sanford, Florida, I attended the University of Florida in Gainesville. As a political science major, I intended to work in government and serve the public. I even spent the summer after my freshman year interning for a United States senator from Florida here in Orlando. It was an honor to serve Central Florida residents. However, the following summer, I had the opportunity to work at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys on a litigation team—where I saw first-hand how the trial lawyers fight tirelessly for their clients. My internship inspired me to pursue something I had never thought of before: law school.
After graduating from the University of Florida with honors, I attended the University of Miami School of Law. There, I was offered a position as an editor of the Inter-American Law Review; later, I was elected by my peers to serve as an Articles and Comments Editor of the journal. I was also acknowledged for my pro bono service as I completed over 300 hours of free legal work for clients in need.
Throughout my time in law school, I gained valuable experience in multiple areas of law and helped clients from all walks of life. I worked for the City of Miami in the Office of the City Attorney in its Labor & Employment Division, representing the City in matters involving its employees. I served as a legal intern for the University of Miami’s Children and Youth Law Clinic, where I represented youth impacted by Florida’s foster care system. Next, I worked as a law clerk at a civil litigation firm in Miami, where I represented clients who were victims of automobile accidents, medical malpractice, sexual assault, and more. After graduating with honors, I worked as an attorney at an employment law firm in Miami, where I represented clients in their employment discrimination and harassment claims.
Now, I am fortunate to return home to Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys as an Associate Litigation Attorney, where I can represent accident victims and help them navigate the most stressful and painful times. As a proud member of the Dan Newlin team, I will fight tirelessly—just as my mentors did before me—to obtain the justice my clients deserve.
