Hi there, my name is Tyler Swift, and I want to thank you for taking the time to read my bio. I am a native Floridian who was born and raised right here in the Central Florida area. I graduated from Ocoee High School and was a member of the first class to attend the high school for all four years.
After high school, I attended college at the University of Central Florida, where I graduated with a degree in Political Science. After college, I made the decision to attend law school at Barry University School of Law here in Orlando. While in law school, I received four book awards for the highest grades achieved in Mediation, Trial Advocacy, Insurance Law, and Remedies. I went on to graduate from Barry University School of Law with honors.
After law school, I began my career as an Assistant State Attorney with the State Attorney’s Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. As a Prosecutor, I had the privilege of representing the State of Florida in criminal court on thousands of cases ranging from driving with a suspended license to burglary and robbery cases. Seeking justice on behalf of crime victims was something I valued in my time as a Prosecutor, and it proved to be very rewarding.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity that Mr. Newlin has provided me to apply the skills that I acquired as a Prosecutor to benefit the clients of the firm.
